Mutual of Omaha Bank Announces Leadership Appointments

October 16, 2015 (Omaha, Neb.) - Mutual of Omaha Bank Chairman and CEO Jeff Schmid recently announced the following senior leadership appointments:

Dwayne Sieck
has been named President, Commercial Bank and Chief Lending Officer. In this role, Sieck will oversee commercial and business banking, corporate finance, commercial real estate, community reinvestment and private client services.

Sieck joined Mutual of Omaha Bank in April 2008 as senior vice president of commercial real estate lending.  He was promoted to executive vice president and director of real estate finance in early 2010.  In late 2010, he was named Chief Credit Officer and in December 2012 his role was expanded to Chief Risk Officer.

Sieck earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa.  He also completed minors in economics and business communications and an emphasis on real estate.  He currently serves on the University of Northern Iowa’s Business College Real Estate Advisory Board and is the past President.  Sieck also attended Southern Methodist University where he completed the SW Graduate School of Banking program.

Margie Heller has been appointed Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).  As CAO, Heller oversees multiple operations of Mutual of Omaha Bank, including accounting, interest rate risk management, capital management, liquidity planning, bank operations and contingency planning.  In addition, Heller oversees the bank’s performance on customer experience and operational support for lending, deposit and treasury areas.

With 35 years of banking experience, Heller joined Mutual of Omaha Bank in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer.  She is a graduate of Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb., and is a Certified Public Accountant.

John Clark has been named Senior Vice President of Private Client Services.  He oversees all aspects of Mutual of Omaha Bank’s private banking, trust services, investment advisory and retail banking.

Clark has more than 30 years of banking experience and previously served as Mutual of Omaha Bank’s Florida state president.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri and is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s Graduate School of Banking.
