FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Mutual of Omaha Bank to Open First Full Service Community Bank in Kansas City

An office strategically located in Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza will soon become Mutual of Omaha Bank’s first full service community bank in the Kansas City market, the bank announced.

Mutual of Omaha Bank has leased space on the first floor of the building, located at 700 West 47th St. The location is strategically positioned on the west end of the Country Club Plaza, offering convenient access to the bank’s business audience, as well as individuals who live and work in the area. Plans call for Mutual of Omaha Bank to occupy the space as a full-service community bank in June 2011.

“This flagship location will serve as a focal point for our expansion in the Kansas City market,” said Sam Somerhalder, senior commercial relationship banker in Kansas City. “As a business-focused community bank, we view this move as a tremendous step in a market where so many leading companies are located. It is an ideal location for our first full-service community bank in Kansas City.”

Somerhalder and Joe Neuerburg, also a senior commercial relationship banker, will relocate to the new location from their current office in Overland Park, Kan. They will be joined by a team of community bankers that will offer a comprehensive suite of personal banking, business banking, mortgage lending and private banking solutions to local individuals and businesses.
