Mutual of Omaha Bank Announces San Diego President

(SAN DIEGO) Mutual of Omaha Bank has promoted Jeff Barnett to San Diego Market President, the company announced.

Based out of the bank’s location at 3580 Carmel Mountain Road, Barnett will lead the strategic growth and management of Mutual of Omaha Bank’s operations in San Diego, which includes an experienced team of bankers offering personal banking, commercial banking, mortgage lending and wealth management solutions to individuals and businesses throughout San Diego.

Barnett joined Mutual of Omaha Bank as vice president of commercial banking in 2010 and has been instrumental in leading the bank’s significant growth in commercial deposit and lending relationships over the past two years. Prior to joining Mutual of Omaha Bank, Barnett served as an officer at another San Diego bank and spent six years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he was honorably discharged at the rank of sergeant.

Barnett earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Arizona State University in Tempe.
