Mutual of Omaha Bank Announces National Director Appointment in Florida

(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) Mutual of Omaha Bank has appointed Elaine Szeto to Director of National Treasury Management, the company announced. 

Initially based out of West Palm Beach, Fla., Szeto will be responsible for the strategic planning and growth of the bank’s Treasury Management business nationwide. She will oversee and lead product development, service quality and the bank’s national treasury sales consulting group, consisting of veteran bankers serving businesses from coast to coast.

Szeto brings 17 years of financial services experience to Mutual of Omaha Bank, most recently serving as a senior vice president and treasury management executive market manager in Florida for a national financial services company.

Szeto earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed the Executive Development Program at the University of North Carolina. She has earned her Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Project Management certifications.

Szeto is a member of the National Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). She served on the board of governors for the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art, the corporate advisory board for The Commonwealth Institute of South Florida and the board of directors for the Florida Diversity Council. Szeto also is a member of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches and the YWCA.
